www.twomorrows.com
Site for Alter Ego, the magazine edited by Roy Thomas about Golden and Silver Age comic books that carries my "Comic Fandom Archive" columns and articles. Sense of Wonder: A Life in Comic Fandom is also available there. And of course, they publish many other magazines and books. Check it out. They are all top quality publications.
www.emeraldcitycomicon
The Pacific Northwest has a full-blooded comicon annually, at the end of January or beginning of February. If you live in the region (or even farther away), you can go to their website and get on their e-mailing list. 6,000 attended in 2005, and next year it will undoubtedly be bigger still. Check it out, fellow fanatics! (Of course, theres more than comics; theres games, videos, toys, and the usual assortment of cool stuff that can be found at comicons elsewhere.)
www.newsarama.com

www.zipcon.net/~tkc
This is the new web-site by Tom Christopher, who has been working as a professional inker for Marvel and other companies for something approaching twenty years. I became aware of his work when he was inking the Silver Surfer in 1986. It was Tom who was able to put together Ron Frenz and Joe Rubinstein as the art team on the new Eye origin in The Eye Collection. (Tom did the lay-outs and backgrounds.) He's even got some Eye pages up on his site, along with other neat stuff.
www.ramonschenk.nl/charltoncomics/charltonspotlight
This is a Charlton Comics site recommended to me by Michael Ambrose. Over the years I've come to realize that, at one time or another, Charlton published work by just bout all the top artists of the 1950s & 1960s. This site is a good way to delve into the weird and wonderful world of Charlton.
www.bettercomics.com
Better Comics is the site of one J. E. Smith, creator of a really fun comic book called Complex City. He recently published a trade paperback collection, which I recommend. Smith is an up-and-coming talent to watch.
www.inter-fan.org
Inter-fan is a site that serves as a nexus of a variety of comic fan-interests and endeavors. Its kinda hard to describe, but its worth checking out.
